Elementary sports now turns its focus to volleyball. At present, Ms. Yorke and Mr. Bauer are holding practices for our students. More information about league games and the tournament will be posted as it becomes available.

Soccer
The soccer season came to a chilly end. Students on all teams played very well and we are proud of their efforts this season. A special thank you to Ms. Copeland and Mr. Haddrell for taking on coaching responsibilities during the busy month of September.
Strong Start Program
The Strong Start early learning program is starting on Monday, Sept. 28th at 9-11:30 am. Please check out the poster for more information.
Terry Fox Run
Please join us on Thursday, September 24 at 1:00 pm for the school Terry Fox Run. We will start in the gym with a brief assembly and then head outside to walk/run along the 273 Road.
BC School Fruit and Vegetable Program starts!
The BC Fruit and Vegetable Program will begin on Monday, September 21 at Charlie Lake School. Our first delivery of fresh produce will occur that day and will be delivered to classrooms on Tuesday and Thursday (we will also have a special delivery to the Kindergarten class on Wednesday).
School Start-up Information
The first day of school is done at 10:45 am. Buses will be running 4 hours early so that means children should be home about 4 hours earlier than they normally arrive.
Kindergarten starts on September 16 for the Mon./Wed.
BOOK FAIR TIME!!
There will be a BOOK FAIR in the library from Tuesday, May 26 – Thursday, May 28. A special thank you to Ms. Haugen for organizing this event for our school. Please come by to check out the wonderful selection of books!

Tuesday, May 26 is picture day at Charlie Lake. At this time class photos and team photos will be taken.
*Please note that the “RED” Kindergarten class will have their photo done on Wednesday, May 27.
