• Laker Day

    The next Laker Day will be Thursday, March 19th.  Primary students will be heading to the Aurora Cinema to watch “The Shaggy D.A.” while Intermediate students have the opportunity to participate in swimming, skating, or skiing/snowboarding at Worseley.

    Dylan Kassian, a grade 7 student in Mrs. McLennan’s class, is one of 5 students selected to attend the National Science Fair in Winnipeg in May.  We are proud of your accomplishment, Dylan!!

  • CHARLIE LAKE STUDENTS SHINE AT REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR

    Charlie Lake students participated in the Regional Science Fair on March 10 at NPSS.  19 projects were entered and when the hardware was handed out, there were 9 gold medals and 10 silver medals shining around the necks of smiling students. 

  • Carnivalle a success!!

    Mrs. Klassen’s grade 6/7 class hosted their first Winter Carnival on Monday, March 2.  As part of their French program, the class had been studying the Quebec Carnivalle which was held on Jan. 9 this year.

    Weather permitting, students from Mrs. Klassen and Mrs. Lea’s classroom will be hosting a “Carnivalle” on Monday, March 2nd.  Come and join us for an afternoon of activities similar to those experienced during Quebec’s Winter Carnival.

  • Ready, Set, Learn

    February 18th marked Charlie Lake’s Ready, Set, Learn Fair.  A carnival-like atmosphere was created to welcome the preschool population and their parents to our school.  The event started out with two delightful stories from our school librarian,

  • Charlie Lake Science Fair

    This year’s Science Fair was an extremely successful event!  224 students with a total of 193 projects participated in the event on February 10th – students ranging from Grades 1 – 7.  Mrs. Haugen was thrilled with this year’s participation and described it as a “Culture of Science Fair”
