Buses Cancelled for Wednesday December 18th


Due to the ongoing cold and drifting snow, the Transportation Department has cancelled school buses for Wednesday, December 18th. Schools will remain open and and ready to receive students that make their way to school on their own.

Early Dismissmal Today


Please be advised that buses will begin their runs 2 hours earlier than normal today due to weather concerns. Please contact the school if you have any questions. Buses first run is at 12:45 p.m.

We are excited to be able to offer Laker hoodies and toques to purchase! All logos are embroidered on each item. Order forms will be available at the school. Orders are due in by Nov. 28th to ensure delivery for Christmas.

Help needed for Family Dance in December!!

There will be a meeting on Friday, November 22 at 9 a.m. to help organize the Family Christmas Dance.
The dance will take place on December 12 from 6:30 – 8:30. We need lots of help to organize this event.

Remembrance Day


November 8th, the grade 6’s along with Mrs. Klassen and Mr. Bourcet, put on an assembly to celebrate Remembrance Day. For the first time, we had a veteran come and participate also. Gavin Holmes served in the Army and was stationed in Germany in World War 2.
