It was deafening in the gym as the students cheered on both the staff and the students. Who knew so many of our staff played volleyball 🙂 The staff defeated the grade 6 volleyball teams in two straight games.

Santa’s Gift Shop Dec 7-9
Thank you to the PAC for organizing Santa’s Gift Shop again this year. Every student will be bringing home a paper copy of the letter and a shopping list for Santa’s gift shop. I will attach the class schedule with the Laker News on Sunday so that you will know when your child will have the opportunity to take part in the shopping.

Canada FIFA World Cup Soccer
Unfortunately Canada lost 0-1 in their first game in 36 years at this event. Canada played so well and we will be cheering them on on Sunday, November 27th.
Laker Movie Night Fun

Volleyball Success at District Tournaments Last Week
We had 4 teams represented us at the district volleyball tournaments last week.
Both our Grade 6 girls and boys teams took 3rd place and our Grade 5 teams took 5/6
