• Charlie Lake Firefighters Help to Cool us Down

    A big thank you to the Charlie Lake Firefighters who came to the school this afternoon. The students had so much fun getting wet. Here is just a few photos of the afternoon. Thank you to the primary teachers for organizing so much fun for our primary crew!

  • Neon Lights Grade Six Farewell

    We had a wonderful evening of fun with the grade 6 students and their families. A big thank you to the parents who helped to decorate, to donate, and to support this fantastic evening. It turned out to be a great night.

  • Gnomie Awards

    We had a busy day at Charlie Lake yesterday with the annual Gnomie awards. Thank you to Mr. Haddrell and Mrs. McCabe for organizing and hosting the awards. It was great to have the kindergarten helpers lead our winners to their seats.

  • Tegan Nielsen $5 Bracelet Fundraiser

     
    We will be selling blue bracelets for $5 to raise money for Tegan Nielsen, a former Laker.
    Tegan suffered a spinal cord injury during a spring break tobogganing accident. She is 14 years old and is an amazing young lady just beginning to experience what life has to offer.

  • School Speech Contest

    The students did an amazing job for our first speech contest in some time. It takes a lot of courage and confidence to speak in front of your peers. Thank you to Mrs. Ranger for helping to organize this event and for Mrs.

  • Ready, Set, Learn on Friday, May 13th

    We are looking forward to our first Ready, Set, Learn in person date this Friday the 13th from 10:45-12pm. If you have a child that is 3 or 4 years of age (not starting Kindergarten in the fall) then come and join us.

    I think this is Mr. C’s favourite holiday. Our office was fully decked out. It was great to see so many costumes!
