It is great to see so many orange shirts in the building and we are having an assembly for each age group. Thank you to Mrs. Hanson for organizing the stories, the bulletin board, and the little orange hearts for students to wear if they forgot their orange shirts.

Open House 4:30-5:30 Today, Sept 29
Just a reminder to come and meet the teachers this afternoon from 4:30-5:30pm outside on the tarmac. The PAC will be serving hot chocolate and the students can play on the equipment or on the field.
Congratulations Cross Country Runners
The Laker team did well in their first run of the season. Congratulation Harvey Toews for earning second place in the intermediate race and to Graydon Rouble who took third place in the primary division. All of the runners did well and it was such a beautiful day!
Wear Orange on Wednesday, Sept 29th
We will be wearing orange on Wednesday to remember all of our indigenous children who did not have the right experience/life at residential schools across Canada.
Terry Fox Run Tuesday at 2:15pm
We are looking forward to our school wide Terry Fox run tomorrow afternoon. Students should bring in any pledge sheets tomorrow too.

Students Voted Today
It was great to have the students voting today so they understand how easy the process is. Will the results be the same as the adults that voted today? We will look at the results tomorrow.
Student Vote at Charlie Lake
Tomorrow many of our intermediate students will be taking part in the student vote at Charlie Lake. They have been learning about the candidates and the process. We will share the results for students across Canada later in the week.
