Welcome back to all parents & students!  The first day of school is on September 8th, 2015 for grades 1 through 6. The warning bell will ring at 8:45 am and the day will commence at 8:50 am. Dismissal is at 10:50 am.  School buses will be running in the morning and at dismissal.  Please ensure your child has a snack for recess.

Students will start the morning by going back to last year’s classes.  Students will be asked to line up outside behind the cone that indicates last year’s teacher name.  Should there be poor weather conditions, this will take place in the gym. There will also be lists in the entrances of the school to help support students and parents should they need to verify placement.  New students to the school are also asked to find their name on the lists.  If you have yet to register your child at the school, please report to the office.  There will be a school-wide assembly at 10:00 am.  Parents are welcome to attend.  The remainder of the week will be full-days with dismissal at 2:45 pm.

Student’s will participate in school-wide activities for Wednesday and Thursday.  They will report back to their Tuesday morning classes for attendance.  Our goal this week is to have classes settled for this current year by Friday morning, September 11th, 2015.

Students enrolled in kindergarten commence a full-day on September 16th, 2015.  Kindergarten teachers will be contacting parents this week to set up appointments and support transition.
