Fun Day Hot Dog Orders

It has come to our attention that there has been some confusion around the PAC supported hot dog ordering for both primary and intermediate fun days.  There has been somewhat of a change this year in order to ensure ALL students get to eat and not be forced to eat hot dogs when it is not their preferred meal.  So, ALL parents are asked to place their child’s order either online as you would do for hot lunches or on paper.  The form permits you to check off the ONE FREE hot dog choice as well as order more (and pay) should you wish to have more than one.  In the past, some students did not get enough to eat and PAC as well as the school felt that this needed to addressed.  Should your child NOT wish to have a hot dog then you need not place an order, but ensure your child has a lunch for the applicable day.  In speaking with PAC this afternoon, they will extend the deadline to May 31st to give all families more time given the confusion that has come to our attention today.  If you have further questions, please do contact the school or check the PAC Facebook page online.
