Charlie Lake students participated in the Regional Science Fair on March 10 at NPSS.  19 projects were entered and when the hardware was handed out, there were 9 gold medals and 10 silver medals shining around the necks of smiling students.  Congratulations on a job well done!

Special Awards went to the following students: *First Place (top award) for Grade 7/8 – Dylan Kassian; BC Innovation Council Award – Ryan Lockyer; BC Agricultural Award – Megan Haugen-Koechl; Federation of BC  Naturalist Award – Dylan Kassian; Heart & Stroke Foundation Award – Kevala Van Volkingburg; Enviro Expo Special Award – Dylan Kassian. 

A special thank you to Mrs. Haugen for all of her work supporting the students attending Regionals, to Mrs. Constable for her help supervising students during the day, and to classroom teachers and parents for all of their assistance.
