  • Fire Prevention Week

We were thrilled to have some fire fighters from the Charlie Lake Fire Station come to the school this afternoon to present fire safety information. The students were engaged and active participants!
Thank you to the Charlie Lake Fire Station!

  • First Snowfall

The students had a lot of fun with our first snowfall.  They created many different snow people!
Please remember to label your child’s clothing and gloves/mitts so that we can find the right ones for the right people.

  • Terry Fox Run

We enjoyed our Terry Fox run a week ago and we were able to raise an amazing $857.95! Thank you Laker Community for your generosity.
We timed the run perfectly because right after we finished the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up.

  • Remembering- why we wear an orange shirt?

It is great to see so many orange shirts in the building and we are having an assembly for each age group. Thank you to Mrs. Hanson for organizing the stories, the bulletin board, and the little orange hearts for students to wear if they forgot their orange shirts.

  • Wear Orange on Wednesday, Sept 29th

We will be wearing orange on Wednesday to remember all of our indigenous children who did not have the right experience/life at residential schools across Canada.
