Charlie Lake students were treated to a short band concert on Tuesday, April 21.  The School District #60 Junior Band visited and shared a number of songs with us.  In addition, Mrs. Montgomery explained the various instruments and talked about opportunities for Grade 6 and 7 students to join band for the 2009-2010 school year.  Students who were interested in joining band have been given an information package.  We have additional packages at the office.

Our very own, Thea Esau, was one of the students playing in the Band.  Although Thea is in Grade 7, her skill level has progressed quickly and she has been invited to play clarinet with the Junior Band.  We’re proud of you, Thea!
