The 2022 Beijing Olympics have ended, with Canadian speed skaters coming home with NINE medals- two GOLD, four SILVER and three BRONZE– can you imagine representing Canada as a speed skater at future Olympics?
If you can, come down to the speed skating oval at the Pomeroy Sport Centre on Saturday, February 26th from 11 am to 12 pm to meet some current speed skaters and coaches, check out the equipment needed and find out what makes this sport so much fun!
Bring your usual skates and helmet, and jump onto the oval! This is a free session, open to anyone who wants to try out speed skating.
