The top contestant from each classroom competed today in the Blue Cup Challenge in front of all of the students. It was amazing to see how well they did. Carter brought in his own yellow cups and they proved to be very fast indeed.

Reading Winners!
We had a lot of students win certificates and prizes (to be given out soon) for our reading challenge. It was awesome to see so many students reading and taking part in the challenge.
Mr. Merhi’s class won the intermediate challenge and Mr.Sorry, but we have to cancel the Family Dance this evening.

Staff vs Student Volleyball
It was deafening in the gym as the students cheered on both the staff and the students. Who knew so many of our staff played volleyball 🙂 The staff defeated the grade 6 volleyball teams in two straight games.

Santa’s Gift Shop Dec 7-9
Thank you to the PAC for organizing Santa’s Gift Shop again this year. Every student will be bringing home a paper copy of the letter and a shopping list for Santa’s gift shop. Canada FIFA World Cup Soccer
Unfortunately Canada lost 0-1 in their first game in 36 years at this event. Canada played so well and we will be cheering them on on Sunday, November 27th.
